Terms and Conditions for Self-Catering - Orchard Barn

1. Making Bookings and Payments
Please check that dates are available before paying a deposit.
A deposit of 25% of the holiday fee is payable on booking and will not be refundable except where booking is not accepted for whatever reason.
The balance of the fee must be paid in advance no less than six weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. If the applicant fails to comply, we cannot guarantee to reserve a booking.
Please make all payments by cheque and in sterling (GBP) - payable to "Orchard Barn". If you would like to pay by bank transfer, or for overseas guests by using IBAN, please contact us.

2. Cancellation / Terminations
Fees will be returnable, subject to deduction of the deposit, if written cancellation is received at any time prior to six weeks before the start of the holiday. If you cancel within six weeks from the start date of the holiday you will be responsible for the payment of the full fees. It is recommended that insurance be taken out against cancellation for reasons outside your control.
Self-catering fees and dates are quoted at the time of going to print and we reserve the right to make alterations, as and where necessary, or relevant.

3. Property and Safety
All property which a guest brings to Orchard Barn is brought entirely at their own risk and the proprietors cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to the property of any guest, nor do they accept any liability to any guest except such is imposed by Statute. During a holiday, or when a guest is not on the property, the proprietors of Orchard Barn do not accept responsibility for any injury which is incurred.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building.

4. General
N.B. Please leave Orchard Barn in good order, as found - the "Named" person responsible for the initial booking, (who must be over 18), will be held responsible for any breakages, and a charge will be made if the property is left in a poor condition. If bringing a baby to Orchard Barn please bring baby bedding and towels. Please advise the proprietors if there is a change to the number of people using the accommodation. Please note that Orchard Barn sleeps 12+2+2 cots and that no more than those maximum numbers may use the property.
